Joey Rihl is a rising star in the art world. Based in South Jersey, he has already made a name for himself through his bold, innovative work. With nearly a decade of professional training under his belt, he has developed a unique approach to reframing iconic narratives through classical realism. His painting “Beautiful Little Fool” was awarded Best in Show at the Markeim Art Center’s 2023 show “Imagination Inspiration” and he was featured in a two-person show there that fall. At 24 years old, he has taken on a high-profile clientele for portraits and is a Young Artist member of the American Artists Professional League. Beyond his own work, he has begun teaching unique workshops in South Jersey art schools, with a passion for making arts education accessible and judgement-free.
